DESIGN STUDIO INTERN 

​

This is an exciting opportunity to join our amazing Jersey City/Manhattan-based team. Nausicaa NYC is rapidly growing and is actively looking for design interns to help the designer in studio for machine knitting, sample production, pattern making, and sourcing.

​

RESPONSIBITLIES

  • Producing samples via pattern and draping in studio

  • Prototyping new knit samples and patterns

  • Sourcing fabric, yarn, and trims locally in the New York Garment District 

  • Assist with Seasonal Collection Shooting and Content Production

  • 1-2 day commitment per week hybrid or onsite

REQUIREMENTS

  • In school for a Bachelor's degree in fashion design or

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships, be committed

  • Energetic personality with high energy is a plus!

  • Proactive and results-driven approach to work

  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines

  • Knowledge in patternmaking, draping, sewing, garment construction, and some knit

  • Knowledge of sourcing from the Garment District in NYC

FASHION MARKETING INTERN 

​

This is an exciting opportunity to join our amazing Jersey City/Manhattan-based team. Nausicaa NYC is rapidly growing and is actively looking for marketing interns to help with social media management, press and media, and content production projects.

​

​

RESPONSIBITLIES

  • Proactively reach out to celebrities and influencers with gifting opportunities to secure brand collaborations and partnerships

  • Conduct regular outreach to stylists and digital publications for editorial features and brand mentions

  • Assist with any content production projects such as look book shooting, editorial shooting, product shooting, etc. 

  • Assist in organizing and executing press events and product launches (ex. pop-ups, launch parties, etc.)

  • Monitor media coverage and compile press clippings for reporting purposes

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging influencer talent

REQUIREMENTS

  • In school for a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Fashion Marketing, or a related field

  • 1-2 years experience in public relations, fashion, or a related industry is preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships

  • Energetic personality with high energy is a plus!

  • Proactive and results-driven approach to work

  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities

  • Familiarity with influencer landscape

  • Knowledge of social media apps, Instagram, Tiktok, Little Red Book

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
